Operation Daylight

Project Morris's initiative to move beyond identification and take action. The database exists to expose — Operation Daylight exists to report.

If you've found a flagged account through Project Morris, you can make a real difference by submitting a tip to the appropriate authorities. Roblox banning an account is not the end of the road. Law enforcement can use a User ID to subpoena Roblox for real identity data — email addresses, IP history, device information — even on banned or deactivated accounts.

1
Gather the information

Before submitting, collect the following from the flagged account:

  • User ID (permanent and does not change with username changes)
  • Username and Display Name at time of observation
  • The profile bio — both the encoded version and the decoded plaintext
  • Any external identifiers found in the bio (Discord usernames, contact handles, etc.)
  • The date you observed the profile
2
Decode the bio if encoded

Many accounts in this database use Morse code or other ciphers to hide explicit content from automated moderation. Use a Morse decoder to translate the bio and include both versions in your report. The decoded content is what demonstrates predatory intent.

Reports are reviewed by trained analysts and forwarded to the relevant law enforcement agencies. You may be contacted for follow-up if investigators need more information. Your identity as a reporter is protected and is not disclosed to suspects.

Filing a report with a banned or inactive account is still worthwhile. Account data is retained by Roblox even after a ban and remains accessible to law enforcement through a subpoena.

Do not contact flagged accounts directly.
Do not attempt to collect evidence beyond what is publicly visible on the profile.
Do not share or distribute explicit content found in decoded bios — describe it and provide the account details instead.
